The Prodigal Son and His Father

In this example, the father displayed all his character when his youngest son asked for his share of the inheritance before his time came. The Bible reminds me of "Ask and You Will Receive." He never tried to stop his son from taking off. If he behaves in a dominant way by telling him "You don't go anywhere." This would be a fairly arranged marriage where one is forced to marry someone who may not necessarily like it.

The youngest son sold his share of the estate and went to a distant land where he wasted his money in the wild. He ended up working among the pigs and was there when he came to his senses. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to reach our senses.

So the youngest son went home and when he was still away from the father, he knew him, ran towards him, kissed him on the cheek and told one of his slaves, he quickly put some sandals on his feet, silver knocked his finger, put the best robe on him, and killed the best calf because we have a reason To celebrate it, because my son is dead, and now he is alive, I have lost, he has now been found.

Notice how the father did not rebuke his son. He showed unconditional love for his son and did not judge him for his earlier ambitions. He also gave what is best for his son. 'Best calf and best robe. What father does not want what is best for his children?'

So the feast was going on when the eldest son entered the fields and called one of the servants "What does all this music and dance mean?" After hearing about the reason for the celebration, the older brother became very angry because he had been working all his life and never received such a grand concert as such.

The father replied, "We had to celebrate the son because your brother was lost, now he was found, he died, and now he is alive." This tells you about the father's personality. The children did not have his personality. Both have sinned in their own way, but the father was willing to forgive and forget. Does this not tell you who he is? I think if God judged you the same way you judge others, would you be comfortable?
