Your Worth, My Dear, Is Incalculable

This is a poem for my daughter, in fact any one of the three of them, and my son, but inspired by that time her daughter questioned its value.

It begins to imagine that the first race she won - sperm X chromosome that beat all other sperm X and Y chromosome in that infinite race.

Is one in ten million already, because every human being is:

~

My dear won the race,

You did it, dear. your pretty face

Your first challenge was to overcome the rest,

That's why, dear, you are already the best!

~

Our excitement, really in fact, we couldn't continue to the bay,

Since then, we've had our enthusiastic choice,

There is nothing better now than hearing a bubbly voice.

~

For us, your life has always been good news,

Although we don't understand everything you will choose,

Even if we tell you again and again,

We only understand why you find this life drain.

~

Having said all this, please don't be aware,

That we still want to bathe you with all our loving care,

Without despair despair take life a day at a time,

It is the only way through life that you should hope to climb.

~

The more we get older, the more we fail to see,

How enriched your characters really are with your life,

So please always think that whenever you doubt your value,

We have thanked Allah Almighty for the hour of your birth.

~

Finally, first of all, when everything is said and done,

Our main hope for you is that you can say that you won,

And you look back one day, in these difficult days of pain,

Our hope for you is to feel the sun after all the rain.
